We provide guidance for concrete synergies in the funding landscape.
We develop methods and guidelines for politics, science, research and business and consolidate them with targeted information, assistance and advice.
We show how synergies lead to faster and better research and innovation results.

The project Synergien.NRW ended on March 31, 2023.
The website (status as of March 31, 2023) will be available to all users for another two years.

The “Health” innovation field seeks to foster and protect people’s health and well-being as well as prevent diseases and reduce the burden they place on individuals and communities.

Innovation Field “Food”

With about 100,000 employees and 1,000 companies, North Rhine-Westphalia is one of Germany’s three most important agricultural regions alongside Lower Saxony and Bavaria.

Innovation Field “Energy”

As an important energy producer and major electricity consumer, North Rhine-Westphalia faces an enormous task with regard to climate protection, which can only be mastered through research and innovations along the entire value chain.

Developing more synergy potential in NRW with the new ERDF/JTF NRW Programme 2021-2027 – Launch conference on 09.09.2022

Under the heading “Making the Future – Shaping Transformation” (Zukunft machen – Transformation gestalten), the ERDF NRW Managing Authority will present the new ERDF/JTF NRW Programme 2021-2027 on 9 September 2022 at Duisburg Landscape Park.

New guide to exploiting synergies - Prague Declaration on Synergies

The new guide on Synergies between the research framework program "Horizon Europe" and the European Regional Development Fund "ERDF" the EU Commission offers new opportunities for synergies between „Regional and European research and innovation funding“ in the funding period 2021- 2027.
