During our digital workshop "Driving the Green Transition through synergies between EU, national and regional funding programs" on October 13, 2021, we discussed with representatives from NRW and European experts on the topic of hydrogen the question of how the promotion of synergies between European, national and regional funding of research, innovation and transfer funding programs can contribute to a more effective implementation of the "Green Deal" in European regions. Examples from the hydrogen sector highlighted the current opportunities and limitations of synergies in the development and application of sustainable technologies.
