NRW publishes Innovation Strategy

The new "Regional Innovation Strategy for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia 2021 to 2027" takes a holistic view at the innovation system of North Rhine-Westphalia and creates an important basis for future research and innovation funding in NRW. To this end, the role of cross-sectional topics is described for seven fields of innovation. With a series of instruments that are to be developed along the following six fields of action - promoting innovation, intensifying networking, supporting start-ups and financing, involving the demand side, further developing the legal framework and securing skilled workers - synergies and interfaces between the instruments and the various political parties involved in its implementation are taken into account.
