Interdepartmental Exchange of Information
The Interdepartmental Exchange of Information is a format for exchange between North Rhine-Westphalian ministries, which was developed in the framework of the Brückenbildung NRW pilot project by North Rhine-Westphalia’s Ministry of Culture and Science in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The first Interdepartmental Exchange of Information took place on 19 January 2017 within the Brückenbildung NRW pilot project at the initiative of North Rhine-Westphalia’s Ministry of Culture and Science. The ministries for economic affairs, environment and health mandated with the implementation of the OP ERDF NRW 2014-2020 and responsible for the region’s lead markets as well as representatives of the Lead Market Agency took part.
In the framework of Synergien.NRW, the Interdepartmental Exchange of Information is being continued and further developed with a view to the programme planning for the ERDF and Horizon Europe. In this context, alternative courses of action developed on the basis of expert opinions are discussed, with the objective of further developing the framework conditions for the use of synergies in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the Brückenbildung NRW pilot project, for example, policy and programme planners were informed within the framework of the Interdepartmental Exchange of Information about current political developments at EU level and points of reference with/participation in European initiatives and programmes in selected priority areas.
